Xprob

Terms of Service

The rules for using Xprob — what the service is, what the Pro subscription includes, and where the responsibility sits.

Not betting advice

Xprob publishes statistical probabilities, not tips or advice. No outcome is guaranteed and past accuracy does not predict future results. You must be 18 or over to use this service. If gambling stops being fun, take a break — free, confidential support is at begambleaware.org and GamCare on 0808 8020 133.

1. What Xprob is

Xprob ("we", "us", "the service") is a football prediction website that publishes statistical probabilities for Premier League fixtures, generated by a Dixon-Coles style model trained on historical match results. We also publish a public, unedited track record of the model's accuracy — see the Record page.

These Terms are between you and the operator of Xprob (accessible at xprob.app). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

2. What Xprob is not

  • Not betting advice. We publish probabilities, not recommendations to bet. Nothing on this site should be read as a tip, a prediction of what you should wager, or an assurance that any outcome will occur.
  • Not a bookmaker or betting exchange. Xprob does not accept bets, hold funds on your behalf for wagering, or have any relationship with your betting activity elsewhere.
  • Not guaranteed. Football is unpredictable. A well-calibrated model can still be wrong on any individual match — our published accuracy record exists specifically so you can judge that for yourself, rather than take our word for it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Xprob. By using the service you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. The Free tier

Core fixture probabilities and the full accuracy track record are free, with no account required. We intend to keep it that way — Free is not a trial of something that disappears.

5. The Pro subscription

Pro is a paid subscription at £12 per month, billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial — you won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time during it at no cost.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancelling stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current billing period (see Refunds below). Pro access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.

We may change Pro's price or included features going forward. If we do, we'll give existing subscribers reasonable notice before it applies to their next renewal.

6. Refunds

  • Cancelling within the 7-day free trial: no charge is made, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Cancelling after being charged: no refund for the remainder of that billing period, but you keep Pro access until it ends, and no further payments are taken.
  • If you believe you were charged in error (a duplicate charge, a billing bug), contact support and we'll investigate and refund genuine errors.

7. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls, scrape the site at a volume that degrades it for other users, share a Pro account's access with people who haven't subscribed, or use the service for anything unlawful.

8. Intellectual property

The Xprob name, logo, model outputs, and site design belong to us. You're welcome to reference or link to individual predictions or the track record; wholesale republishing or reselling of our data isn't permitted without asking first.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Xprob is provided "as is". We don't warrant that predictions will be accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your particular purpose. Fixture data is sourced from third parties and may occasionally be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any losses arising from decisions made using Xprob's predictions — including betting losses — or for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss of any kind. This doesn't exclude or limit liability where the law doesn't allow us to, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

Where liability isn't fully excluded, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Xprob is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You can stop using Xprob and cancel any subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms (see Acceptable use), and will tell you why where reasonably possible.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
